How To Use Your Pillow Cover

The Pillow Cover is designed to cover your existing pillow and is designed with our thin, 100% conductive carbon tech material.

The Pillow Cover has two distinct sides:

  • Smooth Side: Sleep with your skin directly touching this side for the ultimate grounding experience. It’s smooth, comfortable, and easy to clean.

  • Perforated Side: Designed to vent your Pillow Cover so no air is trapped inside, this eliminates uncomfortable air bubbles.

Follow these instructions to properly set up your Pillow Cover:

Step 1: Check Your Outlets

  1. Find an outlet in your home where you plan to use your Pillow Cover

  2. Plug the Outlet Checker directly into the 3-prong outlet.

  3. Look for 2 amber lights to illuminate. This confirms your outlet is properly grounded and ready for use.
    • See here for more details!
    • If you see any other light combination, your outlet is NOT properly grounded. In this case, you can use a Grounding Rod (sold separately) to establish a proper ground connection or test other outlets in your home.

Step 2: (Optional) Plug in the Safe-T Cube Adapter

  1. Plug the Safe-T Cube Adapter into the properly grounded outlet.
    • The Safe-T Cube allows you to connect multiple Earthing products to one ground port at a time, but it is not necessary to use your Pillow Case.

Step 3: Set Up the Pillow Cover

  1. Use the straps to secure the Pillow Cover directly to your mattress – over or under your fitted sheet.

  2. Connect the other side of the Connection Cord to the snap nub on the Pillow Cover.

  3. Please allow a few minutes in order to make the connection.

  4. If you prefer, you may use a pillowcase made from a thin cotton or natural fiber material over the Pillow Cover, although skin contact is best.

Care Instructions: How to Wash and Care for Your Pillow Cover

To keep your Pillow Cover in excellent condition and maintain its conductivity:

  1. Cleaning the Pillow Cover: Wipe down the Pillow Cover using a non-corrosive cleaner. Do not use chlorine bleach, fabric softener, or any detergent containing bleach or softeners, as they can damage the mat’s conductivity.

  2. Avoid lotions and creams: Do not apply lotions, creams, or oils to the parts of your body that will be in contact with the Pillow Cover as these substances can oxidize and reduce conductivity over time.

  3. Air Dry: Let the Pillow Cover air dry after cleaning. Do not use high heat or direct sunlight for extended periods as this may damage the materials.
