Living in a place with winter for nearly half the year (Canada!) can be hard to connect to Earth. Unless you’re digging through a patch of snow to the grass and braving the frigid temperatures, you’ll probably have a hard time earthing, and we’re here to say you don’t have to!
Instead, we’ve rounded up 5 ways to get grounded in the cold months.
1. Sleep on a grounding mattress cover.
This will be the most effective way to connect to Earth’s energy throughout the winter, and it’s as easy as laying it across your mattress, plugging in and getting a good night’s rest.
2. Soak in a thermal bath or hot spring.
The high mineral and salt content found in natural hot springs has the power to ground you; being surrounded by nature helps, too!
3. Ground at your desk.
Reap the benefits of Earth’s energy just by sitting and placing your feet on a universal grounding mat.
4. Stay cozy in grounding socks.
Toasty and energizing, getting grounded is as easy as slipping them on, plugging in and relaxing!
5. Travel somewhere warm.
Okay, there are only so many ways you can ground in the winter, so if you can, head south for a little grounding vacay action!
There you have it! Here’s to staying grounded all year long! Of course, we still recommend going out and getting as much fresh air as you can. While you might not be getting the physical earthing benefits, you are still getting the benefit of feeling more connected to Earth.
