How To Use Your: Mattress Cover Kit

The Mattress Covers are made from proprietary grounding material that is the culmination of two decades of research and development. It’s 100% conductive, easy to clean, and very durable. The perfect addition to your sleep and wellness routine! 

Follow these instructions to properly set up your Mattress Cover:

Step 1: Check Your Outlets

1. Find an outlet in your home where you plan to use your Mattress Cover.
   
   
2. Plug the Outlet Checker directly into the 3-prong outlet.
   
   
3. Look for 2 amber lights to illuminate. This confirms your outlet is properly grounded and ready for use.

  • If you see any other light combination, your outlet is NOT properly grounded. In this case, you can use a Grounding Rod (sold separately) to establish a proper ground connection or test other outlets in your home.

Step 2: (Optional) Plug in the Safe-T Cube Adapter

1. Plug the Safe-T Cube Adapter into the properly grounded outlet.

• • The Safe-T Cube allows you to connect multiple Earthing products to one ground port at a time, but it is not necessary to use your Mattress Cover.

Step 3: Set Up the Mattress Cover

1. Use the straps to secure the Mattress Cover directly to your mattress – over or under your fitted sheet.
   
   
2. Connect the other side of the Connection Cord to the snap nub on the Mattress Cover.
   
   
3. Please allow a few minutes in order to make the connection.
   
   
4. We recommend using just one thin layer of fabric between your skin and the product. Bamboo and cotton work great!

Care Instructions: How to Wash and Care for Your Mattress Cover

To keep your Mattress Cover in excellent condition and maintain its conductivity:

1. Cleaning the Mattress Cover: Wipe down the Mattress Cover using a non-corrosive cleaner. Do not use chlorine bleach, fabric softener, or any detergent containing bleach or softeners, as they can damage the mat’s conductivity.
   
   
2. Avoid lotions and creams: Do not apply lotions, creams, or oils to the parts of your body that will be in contact with the Mattress Cover as these substances can oxidize and reduce conductivity over time.
   
   
3. Air Dry: Let the Mattress Cover air dry after cleaning. Do not use high heat or direct sunlight for extended periods as this may damage the materials.
