How To Use Your: Universal Band

The Ground Therapy Universal Band is perfect for traveling and getting grounded anywhere you have access to a grounded outlet. The adjustable elastic can fit around most feet, arms and wrists. 

Follow these instructions to properly set up your Universal Band:

Step 1: Check Your Outlets

1. Find an outlet in your home where you plan to use your Universal Mat.
   
   
2. Plug the Outlet Checker directly into the 3-prong outlet.
   
   
3. Look for 2 amber lights to illuminate. This confirms your outlet is properly grounded and ready for use.

   If you see any other light combination, your outlet is NOT properly grounded. In this case, you can use a Grounding Rod (sold separately) to establish a proper ground connection or test other outlets in your home.

Step 2: (Optional) Plug in the Safe-T Cube Adapter

1. Plug the Safe-T Cube Adapter into the properly grounded outlet.
   
   The Safe-T Cube allows you to connect multiple Earthing products to one ground port at a time, but it is not necessary to use your Universal Mat.

Step 3: Set Up the Universal Band

1. Wrap your Universal Band around your arm, wrist, ankle or foot
   
   
2. Connect the other side of the Connection Cord to the snap nub on the Universal Band.
   
   
3. Please allow a few minutes in order to make the connection.

Care Instructions: How to Wash and Care for Your Universal Band

To keep your Universal Band in excellent condition and maintain its conductivity:

1. Cleaning the Band: Wipe down the band using a non-corrosive cleaner. Do not use chlorine bleach, fabric softener, or any detergent containing bleach or softeners, as they can damage the mat’s conductivity.
   
   
2. Avoid lotions and creams: Do not apply lotions, creams, or oils to the parts of your body that will be in contact with the mat, as these substances can oxidize and reduce conductivity over time.
   
   
3. Air Dry: Let the band air dry after cleaning. Do not use high heat or direct sunlight for extended periods as this may damage the materials.
